2026 resident and business access permits

Lakemba Nights during Ramadan 2026 will be held every Thursday-Sunday between 19 February to 15 March from 6pm to 2am.

Road closures will be in place Thursdays to Sundays, 4:00pm to 4:30am from Thursday 19 February to Sunday 15 March 2026 with the exception of The Boulevarde, which will open at 4am. This means there will be no vehicle access between 4:00pm-4:30am during this period. Please note Sunday 15 March 2026 will be the last night for Lakemba Nights during Ramadan 2026.

A permit system has been developed to allow residents and business access when the road closures are operational.

Please refer to the map below showing which roads, streets and lanes will be closed. If you require access to this area you will need to apply for an access permit and display this on your dashboard

There are five colour coded permits  that residents and businesses can apply for. Permits are provided free.

Please note: If you do not have a permit, you will not be able to access these streets. You will be required to have a permit to access these streets Thursday to Sunday 4:00pm to 4:30am.
