Terms and Conditions

  1. The Customer must have a Council approved Work Permit to book an Inspection.

  2. The Customer must supply a copy of their Public Liability Insurance ($20 million minimum) for all Inspection bookings.

  3. Council will not accept any Inspection bookings where the Customer’s Public Liability Insurance is not provided.

  4. Council requires a minimum of two business days’ notice to book an inspection. 

  5. Council conducts inspections between 7am and 11am ONLY.

  6. For Pre-Pour and Stormwater Inspections, the Customer is responsible for ensuring:
    a. Work is completed and ready for Council inspection by 7am on the day; and
    b. At a minimum, ONE site contact/representative is present on site until the inspection is completed by Council.

  7. In the event of the Customer failing to meet the requirements outlined in 6a and 6b, the Customer acknowledges that:
    a. The Inspection Fee will be forfeited;
    b. It is their responsibility to contact Council to re-book their Inspection; and
    c. Fees and charges of the new Inspection booking will be applied.

  8. The Customer accepts responsibility for the payment of additional fees where damage to the property of the Council is caused through the use of Council’s property by the Customer. Fees and charges associated with damage to Council’s property are outlined under Council’s adopted Fees and Charges.

  9. Where the Customer has been advised by Council of work to be carried out to satisfy Occupational Compliance, this is to be addressed within 21 days of notice. If the work is not completed satisfactorily within 21 days, Council may rectify the work and charge you in accordance with Council's adopted Fees and Charges.

  10. Council has the right to direct the attention of the Customer to any breach of the terms and conditions.
